Obituary





Jerry Lee Harvey, 75, of Keedysville, MD, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at the Meritus Medical Center.

Born Saturday, August 29, 1942 in Pearisburg, VA, he was the son of the late Russell Harvey and the late Evelyn (Beller) Harvey.

Jerry graduated from Jefferson High School in Roanoke, VA. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a long time member of South End Baptist Church in Frederick, MD. He enjoyed, hunting, fishing, family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Carole Ann Harvey; two daughters, Renee Lynn Weddle & husband Shawn of Smithsburg, MD, Nikole Marie Morningstar & husband Aaron of Hagerstown, MD; ten grandchildren, Danielle (Haines) Morrison & husband Ben of Stafford, VA, Cody Haines & wife Katie of Middletown, MD, Jared Haines & fiance Sarah Shives of Hagerstown, MD, Luke Weddle and Dalton Weddle of Smithsburg, MD, Hunter Morningstar of Martinsburg, WV, Noah Morningstar, Ayden Morningstar and Emercyn Morningstar all of Hagerstown, MD; three great grandchildren, Savannah Morrison, Harper Morrison and Adelynn Haines.
He was preceded in death by a grandson Brandon Haines and brothers, David and John Harvey.

Services will be held Friday, July 27, 2018, at 10:30 am, at South End Baptist Church, 506 Carrollton Drive, Frederick, MD, with the Pastor Mike Cooper, Pastor Ken Stalls and Pastor James McBride officiating.

Family will receive friends at the church on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Interment will be at Hill Top Cemetery in Hyndman, PA
